My kind of heaven....

Just got back from The Cape and wanted to share one of my favorite moments with you. The bay has such spectacular sunsets and this baby had absolutely amazing colors! We try to stay down at the beach until the last rays dip below the horizon, even though the no-see-ums are doing their best to take up residency in our noses. Can't believe it will be a whole year til we see this sunset again...

Why, oh why, does vacation have to end???!!! ( long sigh...)

I'm gonna print this sucker out and stick it to the wall of my studio, right in front of my face!!! (longer sigh......)

You're absolutely right Clarice! Thanks for reminding me...I truly do love my home. It is filled with everything I love --- my husband, kids, cats, antique cake stands, as well as my art supplies and glittery goods! Besides the obvious beauty of the beach and the fun of seeing our friends, I guess I love the fact that on vacation, no one needs me to make something for them...except maybe breakfast! I don't take glitter to the beach tho it WOULD be FUN!!!)
I'll try to remember your wise words...and this great picture.

I love your photo! I love the Cape so much - I am trying to convince my husband to go back up in September. We shall see if he agrees!

By Cape I assume you mean Cape Cod. So, tell this westerner how the sun can be setting over YOUR ocean. The sun sets over OUR ocean! Does this have something to do with the Cape curving? Are we looking in towards the coastline here. Confuddled.
